These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Collect-A-Maid ("we", "us", or "our"). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Collect-A-Maid provides professional cleaning services including residential cleaning, commercial/office cleaning, move in/out cleaning, and deep cleaning. Services are provided in the Cape Town metropolitan area.

2. Bookings

Bookings can be made via phone, WhatsApp, email, or through our website contact form. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation has been issued by Collect-A-Maid.

3. Pricing

All prices listed on our website are starting prices and are subject to the size and condition of the property. Final pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time, though confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed price.

4. Payment

Payment is required prior to or on the day of the scheduled service. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking. Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the booking.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel a booking. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full service fee.

6. Service Duration

General cleaning sessions run up to a maximum of 8 hours. Deep cleaning and move in/out cleaning durations depend on the size and condition of the property. If additional time is required beyond the agreed scope, we will discuss this with you before proceeding.

7. Cleaning Supplies

For deep cleaning and move in/out services, all cleaning supplies are provided by Collect-A-Maid, including detergents, mops, brooms, and multi-purpose cloths. For general day cleaning, supply arrangements should be confirmed at the time of booking.

8. Access to Property

You must ensure that our cleaning staff have reasonable access to the property at the agreed time. If access is not provided, the booking may be treated as a no-show and charged accordingly.

9. Liability

Collect-A-Maid takes reasonable care in providing our services. However:

  • We are not liable for damage to items that are fragile, improperly secured, or have pre-existing defects
  • Any claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of the service
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided
  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses

10. Valuables & Security

We recommend that you secure valuables, sensitive documents, and personal items before a cleaning session. Collect-A-Maid is not responsible for the loss of unsecured items.

11. Complaints & Satisfaction

If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 24 hours. We will review the matter and, where appropriate, arrange a follow-up cleaning at no additional cost.

12. MUDA Training

MUDA Training programs are subject to separate enrollment terms. Program availability, scheduling, and fees are communicated at the time of inquiry. Contact muda.training.org@gmail.com for details.

13. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with POPIA.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Western Cape.
